Gift of encouragement

Encouragement is the greatest gift that you can give some one around you. Everybody loves to hear a few words of encouragement, it makes your day, it peps you up, it brings a spring to your steps. It is not natural for everyone to be an encourager, words of appreciation does not automatically come to most of us, we are more prone to find out the defects and faults in others and highlight it. To appreciate someone or to acknowledge a good work done needs to be more of an intentional effort for most of us, for some to be an encourager is a natural gifting, like Barnabas (Son of encouragement) of the Bible who encouraged Paul. A few words of encouragement can motivate people to achieve exceptional results, drives them to work harder and maximize their God given potential. We don't have to look for great skills, talents or accomplishments to appreciate someone. It can be on small, mundane and routine little things of life that we find opportunities to utter a few words of appreciat
